The Valouwe 54 is the property of Ann and Peter van Buiten who have owned the bungalow since 1991.

The name "Op 'e Tippe" comes from the local dialect word  "de Tippe" or "the Point". At the time "The Valouwe 54" was the last bungalow in the Valouwe. All other bungalows beyond "de Tippe" were built in later years.
